Aerospace 303 vs 1Z Einszett Rubber Care Stick

i have both. i used the gummi pflege stick on all my trucks weatherstripping. this was some time ago. and its still doing well. the weatherstripping is still like new.

Try rubbing some Dielectric Grease on your weatherstripping.

Two very different uses, Gummi is great on seals and exterior rubber gaskets IE windshields, 303 more of a dressing. When using 303 on seals, door gaskets etc some squeaking can occur which is very annoying to some(like me). I use both, Gummi on the exterior seals/gaskets/rubber bits 303 inside on all hard surfaces. Don't use either on guage clusters or LCD screens though.
If you wanted to use only one companies items 1Z Cockpit is an equal to 303 IMO.

I use Gummi on all my soft rubber weatherseals.

And 303 in the interior.

Never thought of using the dialectric grease before. I'll give it a test.

I find Einszett better on rubber surrounds as it doesnt run as much and the applicator is easy to control. It even "seems" to have some water resistant features over other protectants.

Great tip! :props:

Most of the "rubber" seals/weatherstripping has been replaced with a more UV resistant "synthetic rubber"...EPDM.

It is recommended to use dielectric grease on that type.

:)

Just the name (grease) for seals turns me off.
