Hello,

I am looking for affordable deep carpet cleaner such as bissell proheat,
and wondered if there are better options out there.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

If you are detailing for business, get a quality extractor. You do not want to cheap out on machines.

I got a Little Green Bissell and it is ok, you will be dumping water frequently thou

well I detail on weekends,
and maybe 3-4 cars a month

and barely do interior shampoo so don't need to $2000 fancy machine lol

How many times do you dump out the water?

that is one of the concern due to such a small tanks,
I dont want to refill water like 3-4 times per seat lol

Sandia Indy heated or Tuffy jr for best bang for buck for a real extractor
Otherwise cheapest would be the bissel and use your shop vac to extract

if you're going basically doing one car a week you are better off getting a quality extractor which means you'll be paying more (it will pay for itself in the long run). the LGBM would be more suitable for someone doing a car or two every few months or so...

I mean thats the total number of cars I would work mostly, but I rarely need interior shampoo work.

Im gussing I will need it maybe once a month top.

the reason Im looking for one is I can get great result on carpet just using shop vac and brush,
but I don't get good result on clot seats.

Also the 2 I mentioned will run on a 15amp service
Where majority require a 19/20+ amps to run

Hmm maybe I should invest in decent steamer... lol

I believe two per seat if I remember correctly, depends how much you use.

For once a month use (maybe) I can settle with that.

Guess I will go for Little Green

Thanks!!

Good thing this topic came up, I was looking into the little green as well and think I am sold

This is what I used my first year in business...

Has a MUCH larger water capacity that the other portable Bissell units. Still use it as a back up or when there are two of us working on an interior at the same time. Great little unit, VERY affordable. However its not heated and if you looking to possibly go into business get the S300 or similar pro type for sure.

I looked at that one too, but I was concerned about not having hot water option.

But if thats not a big deal, i would love to go with bigger tank option for sure.
