I wanted a refresh on the website, so I did a redo. I was able to keep the simple clean look that most people like while making it look fresh and new. I updated photos and prices. I reduced my photo gallery from 60 to 16 photos. I eliminated my cquartz finest page.(no longer want to be an installer) I redid the Opti Coat Pro page. I reduced my RV services offerings. I added a few FAQ. Overall I think it looks good.
What do you guys think? Any typos or grammar issues? Anyone see any spelling errors? Any feedback would be great. Maybe you could give me a LIKE on my Facebook page.
Thanks Autogeek community.

Looks great Mike! I've always been on the simpler is better side when it comes to web sites. Didn't have time to proof read but overall it looks much better than previously.

I think it's looks good. Very clean and simple as Mark already pointed out. Just curious why did you dump installing Cquartz Finest for?

Last year I gave a couple professional coatings a test run, I never planned on carrying more than one. After a year of reviewing the most popular ones, I settled on Opti. There were many factors that went into my decision. There is nothing wrong with CQuartz, the finest installer program, Car Pro or Corey. In fact all were pretty great. After a year with both companies Opti-Coat Pro and Afterglow Detailing were just a better fit. Alot simply came down to who my customers are and what their expectations are. Geography and climate also played a role. Popularity played the biggest part. Opti is very popular and in demand in my area.

After watching the data from my website I could see where my customers were coming from and how they viewed my website. After having a website for 2 years I learned that they do not spend much time there. I learned that they are in search of the basics. They are looking for the who. what, where, when and why. All the fluff is just in the way.
A lot of detailers have great looking sites but from a customers point of view it is information overload. I thought tons of photos were a good thing(I had 60) but the amount of clicks on the first 8 or 10 was huge compared to the last 20. People really don't spend as much time as you think. There is also a huge difference in which pages of the site even get looked at.

Everyone with a website should pay attention to HOW it is viewed and not just how it LOOKS.

Happy Detailing!
(I know I have not been around the forum the past few months, but now I am back)

Website looks great!

If you don't mind me asking, how did you set up your photo album? I love the way it looks and how it opens an album to flip through when you click. I've been trying to do something similar but can't get anything to work right.

The photo album was part of the template I used. It is just a basic template from Yahoo small business. I'm into my third year hosting with yahoo and have not had any problems. My wife is a graphic designer so she is able to dress up the template. She hates templates but she dose not know web design so we are stuck with using them.
