After wet sanding what compound(s) / pad(s) do you use? Also, do you have to use a rotary, or can you use a cyclo, pc7424, udm, etc.?
Feed back please

You can use a DA, but it will take longer than a rotory. If you use a DA I would use 4" pads for better cut. Do a search on compounds, there's a lot out there, but I perfer the Menzerna line.

For me I feel a PC does not have enough muscle, A cyclo will do the job but I get the best results by compounding with a rotary and finishing with a cyclo!

:whs: I can be done ,but your arms will be tired!

A PC will work after a rotary just do the hard work with the rotary. Rotary are difficult to get that true swirl free mirror finish, it takes some practice to go all rotary but an easier method (for me) is to do the grunt work with a rotary and touch up n finish with with the PC (or cyclo).

Thank you Backdraft ,now i just need it to warm up with wind chill its only 5 outside.

I'd use:

Meguiar's M105
Menzerna SIP
Menserna Nano

in that order. If you want to go with something cheaper though, just start with some kind of compound, then an aggressive polish, then a finishing polish. A PC can get the whole job done, but it'll take a LOT longer.

The Meg's 105 on rotary with wool pad, then Meg's M205 on the DA with a foam polishing pad on speed 5, followed by your wax of choice. I have found that this works great on dark colors as well as light ones.

I would use a Rotary with a wool pad, and M105 to start out with.
