Has AUTOGEEK thought of putting forth a weekly 1/2 Hour TV show, say on a channel like SPEED ?
 
WELCOME ... Im you host as we move through the many exciting developments in MF technology. Lets start with Waffle Weave .....
 
I'd surely watch it ... if I had Speed channel. :(
 
It would be great but I dont think there is enough content to make a full time show. Maybe a special but dont think you could do a one hr show every week for a season on detailing, you could, but nothing that would interest viewers that are not into detailing like us.
 
There are a lot of misconceptions on car care products, often cost becomes determinate, rather than quality of finish. Auto Geek going TV on Speed would help demystify and debunk car care products. Most importantly Auto Geek could do a lot to demonstrate correct way to wash a vehicle verses local ‘car wash’. Regards

I suggested a 1/2 Hour show... and I think that with all the Threads on here about different products and all the different ways of doing things... there is enough material to use.

Also, each week, a different Detailing Product company could be featured... and that company could spring some Cash for the production of AG-TV, in return for the advertising it would get.

A different Detailer could be featured too, showing his tricks of the trade. It appears that everyone on here, likes to show off his/her work. This wouldn't be any different than a Guy showing of his/her Car in "Car Crazy" or "My Classic Car".

So obviously, different things appeal to different folks.

Unique Whips does a whole Hour and right now, they are into endless re-runs. A whole Hour ? Some of the stories are OK... but it's not really a DIY show.

Some of shows on SPEED are for Car enthusiasts... and I think a DIY Detailing Show would do well, especially right after the "Car Crazy" and "My Classic Car" time slots.

As for the Host... I've already picked him out >>> Mike Phillips :props:

I'd like to see more videos added to the Auto Geek YouTube Channel. That would be significantly cheaper than producing a TV show :xyxthumbs: I do however think that making some commercials that could run on SPEED or during SpikeTV's PowerBlockTV would be worthwhile and have a great ROI.
 
i believe there is plenty of content to make a good 30 minute or even hour long show. it would be a great oppurtunity for the general public to actually see what goes into a properly done detail job. then they would understand why the prices are what they are and it is more than just a wash and wax. as well as in depth explanation of products and proper use and care
 
i've seen segments on car shows about "proper car care" but it was just a special piece of a show that was really about cars. Other than, Paul Dalton has got some run time with his extravagant details over in the UK. The viewers, even non enthusiast are all oooh amd ahhh because they can't believe that this little tub of wax cost $1,500!!!.

I think some additional volumes/series on youtube would be very feasible.
 
AutoGeeks "Show Car Garage"... I knew it would happen, sooner or later.

Congratulations AutoGeek... for making it happen.
