AG, YouTube, Photobucket and a Smartphone

This is a guide intended to help people get their Videos and Pictures onto the forums from their Smartphone as painlessly as possible. As far as Smartphones go, I can only attest to the iPhone 4 and the way to go about it's process' but I'm sure that other Smartphones are just as capable. It may seem complicated at first, but once you get it down you can be posting pics and vids in no time! If any of the following info is difficult to understand or outright wrong, please let me know.

Some things to have done prior to attempting to upload pics/vids as outlined in this guide.

- Create a Youtube account
- Create a Photobucket account
- Create a Contact for yourself on your Smartphone

YouTube and Photobucket enable their users to upload videos/pics from their phone by sending it to a unique "mobile" address. Here's how to do it...

YouTube-

First, Sign-in to your YouTube account.

1- Navigate to "Account Settings"

2 & 3- Select "Mobile Setup" (2) and take note of your provided unique "address" (3)

4- Add this address to your own contact information on your iPhone.

When you are ready to upload a video to YouTube navigate to the desired video on your phone.

5- Select the "Send to" button

6- Choose "Send to YouTube" and select your unique YouTube address we previously saved to your contact info.

7- Fill out the required info and then select "Publish"

8- Wait...

When it is done Uploading, go to the video on your YouTube Page and select "share" to open the drop-down box. Copy and Paste the provided code into your forum post.

Post it!

Photobucket

First, sign-in to your Photobucket account

1- Navigate to the "Account Settings" page (1)

2 & 3- Select "Mobile settings"(2) and take note of the provided "Address" (3)

4- Enter this info into the "contact info" for yourself on your phone.

When your ready to upload a photo navigate to the desired photo on your phone

5- Select the "Send to" button

5- Choose "MMS" or "Email Photo" and select your unique Photobucket address we saved to your contact info earlier.

6- When it is finished, go to the photo on your Photobucket account and copy/paste the "IMG Code" into your forum post.

7- Post it!

I hope this info helps some people get their pics and vids posted with very little hassle... Hopefully it doesn't become so convenient that people start to "Tweet" every little thing they do! LOL

Nice guide!!! Another shortcut for posting pictures is Tapatalk (pic must be on phone).
