This was a single stage paint correction.
The paint itself still had a decent gloss to it before the detail, although it was heavily contaminated. It took about 6 passes of the clay bar per panel to get them fully clean.

Polish used is Menzerna Power Finish
LSP is Pinnacle Souverän

Here are some before shots starting with the engine.

And the after shots.

I did some correction work on the headlights as they were yellowing slightly and had some nice water spots and other marks.

Overall the paint looks much better now and has amazing reflection in the sunlight. It is nice to see the metal flake in the paint again.

Nice restore,..what was your approach for removing the acid rain spots?..I seem to have a lot of trouble with those, specially on dark colored cars..

The spots on the paint or on the headlight?

For the paint, the Power Finish (Used with Lake country white CCS pad) took care of them along with the swirls that were in the paint.

The headlights: I used 3M 1000 blending disk, followed by a 3000 Trizact disk. After that I polished with SIP/orange cutting pad, then Micro polish/white polishing pad. Applied Poorboys EX-P sealant to protect the light housings.

Gottcha,..many thanks..spots are all over the paint, industrial fallout/acid rain.
