What would you recommend as a paint cleaner for a newer neutral color car that doesn't need much paint correction?

So I guess what I'm asking is which AIO product has the strongest chemical cleaners?

I've always had great results with Meguiar's Cleaner Wax... The OTC version in the maroon bottle. To this day it's one of the best chemical cleaner AIOs, with no abrasives, and I always have a bottle on my shelf.

FWIW, I just tested the tailgate of my truck with P21s Paintwork Cleanser to see if it would remove Griot's 3 in 1. Much to my surprise, it did. I did it by hand too. I assume any other polish would do the same.

3D Speed has given me good results by hand. Speed is such an easy product to work with either by hand or polisher.

Since P21S GEPC doesn’t contain any
kind of LSP (protection) ingredients,
I don’t consider it to be an AIO.

^^^ :iagree:
•Meguiar’s A12 is just one of the
many excellent AIOs in their lineup.

Bob, do you think the cleaning ability of something like P21s a bit higher than a regular major brand polish?

With everything else being equal—most
major brands’ polishes contain some sort
of abrasives; whereas GEPC does not.

•With that in mind (and based solely on
that lack of abrasives in it’s formulation);
-Then, IMO: GEPC’s paint cleaning ability
could not be higher than polishes that do
contain abrasives.

For years.....that was all I had on the shelf.

I always liked the way Klasse AIO cleaned up white single stage paint. No abrasives, strictly a chemical cleaner.

I even had good luck cleaning up some smooth exterior plastics with it. You can't let it sit. Wipe it on a small area and immediately remove with a clean rag.

According to Megiar's their AIOs in cut from least to most

A1216 Megs #6 red bottle
M0616 Megs #6 Professional Line
3 in 1 Wax
D166 Ultra Polishing Wax

so for the most cut use 3 in 1 or D166. I have found that between 3 in 1 and D166 that 3 in 1 is a bit easier to remove.

I have also used Blackfire AIO it is a good product but to me 3 in 1 to me just feels better when using and is easier to remove.
