Alright so lately I have been using CG Stripper scent as my main air freshener for my family's car. To be honest I love the smell of it but the problem is that all their re-fresheners are like cheap cologne (smells good but last for a very short period of time). I am pretty tired of hanging those air fresheners in my rear view mirror in which lately none have been lasting for a good period of time. I am wondering if any of you recommend a good brand that last for a good period of time. I been looking at the Dakota odor bomb but iffy about itFeed back please

I've never used dakota odor bombs, i thought they were mainly for removing odors?

I use an air freshener called "Poppy" it lasts forever and smells good. If you can find it i would recommend it.

I know people also use scott air fresheners in cars but i find it overpowering - i don't know if there is a way to control the release or if strategic placement will help but that might be something to look into.

Also seen people recommend dryer sheets under the seat, heat is supposed to activate the scent.

The "Poppy" is it a pill shape?

I was thinking about placing a couple of drops of scented oil on my cabin air filter. Has anyone tried that?

I seen videos where they spray it by the vent where the air gets sucked in and redistribute back into the cabin. I done it that method but still last a short period of time.

thanks for bringing this up aztec. i was thinking of getting some of the CG air freshners, but it's good to know that it does not last long.

i guess on the other hand, you get 16oz of it, so i assume the product itself last a while, you just have to spray regularly?

i just use those renuzit adjustable cones (comes in an different assortment of fragrances) and keep it in the cup holder. it's only a $1 and you can tell when it's time to replace it when it's all gone...

For a splurge, i picked up the gel container of BLACK OUT. A scent from the DRIVEN line of car freshners. (by the refresh co) Right at auto zone. Put in under the passenger side seat. Great scent!

I've never used these but I'm looking at them for customer cars.

I do use this and it works quite well.

I use the wonder wafers on customer cars. I like them and they are cheap.

I used a small Glad plastic container, then I cut up a sponge and put it into the container. Then I put the CG Scent into the container so the sponge soaked it up. I put it under the seat and this helps to keep scent around longer. If I just spray it then it won't last very long.
