This might not be the correct place in the forum for this..

Looking into an entry level airbrush kit to spray touch up paint/clear to repair some road rash on my bumper.

Anyone have experience with this?

Am I better of with aerosol cans and 2 part activated clear?

Used an airbrush for spot repairs before. I have decent double action unit. (Amazon $100) Solid colors (no metallic) are relatively easy to do this with...metallics are about impossible to get to look perfect because the metallic lays down differently and it can be noticeable. This is a bit of an art form, takes overspraying the area to help with blending, will have to knock it down and feather it a bit. Also bumpers are a particular issue because they tend to have a different formulation of paint for additional flexibility...and that is outside my realm of knowledge. Mike could probably give some excellent information on this...

Interesting. Unfortunately I've got a blue pearl paint..
