I only have 1 single auto detailing item from Ali....it was a copycat knockoff PW nozzle protector.
I presume it was the same OEM manuf. since everything is almost made in PRC.

It was a copycat-lookalike version of the Suttner ones I have but they are clearly not the manuf. of it.

My Suttner one's are about are almost 2 decades old as a WAG. The rubber on them have not chipped or deteriorated.
A bit dirty and maybe not as bright.....but it's perfectly flawless on the rubber except the model O bought is plated steel.

My Ali lookalikes - the rubber came somewhat -loose- received upon arrival....and after `18 months of seasonal usage (it is due to be replaced). As an analogy, the rubber the Ali is similar to the Apple Genuine Silicone cases. One drop and it chips. The rubber on nozzle protectors being discussed have not chipped but they are fraying on the hard seam in 2 area...so more like it will rip as the open creases become larger. It's a much softer rubber than the originals.

I went searching for the other AliExpress thread on here and couldn't find it so refreshing it with a new thread.

Are there any standouts from Ali or what one could say is just as good the -branded ORIGINAL-

I did not ever buy anything from AliE. Seemed it would take a month just to hit the Pacific.

I was lucky to find one from SPTA in 2022 when it was reasonably priced from Amazon but with the heavy influence of RWs lately, the electric sprayers were a hot AliE topic at one time. I don't recall if any were standouts... and the variant of SPTA I have has since been updated/replaced by SPTA. Paid around $30 for mine before the YT detailer cults pushed them up to $60+.

I have bought off Aliexpress, prices have gone up since DT joined office
Gets to Australia in about 2 weeks.

Applicators
Tyre brush
Bits & Bob's

Have purchased a few items from Ali Express but it's been maybe 6 months since. Some of their items are crap and will never be used for detailing. However some items are identical to items sold by the detailing supply houses a for a 4 to 6 times the cost.
It's a gamble and can only suggest if one does buy some items just don't buy large quanities till you find out if they are just as good or just crap.
On a related note just bought three packs of 10 microfiber applicators from Amazon. They are SPTA brand and are the saver ( plastic lined microfiber) applicators with 70/30 microfiber. They are 38% off right now so a package of ten is $11.78. Much better price than the Autofiber applicators and look to be identical other than the color.

SPTA is a solid brand. It's not going to take the spotlight but some great deals from them. I've got those applicators you mention, an interior curve type brush, their 3in mini polisher and a bunch of pads, some microfibers, an electric sprayer, and a few other miscellaneous things and I've never been disappointed.
