Yesterday morning I boarded a King Air and headed South
A freind of mine purchased a car a couple states away and decided it might be more profitable for him to hire me to drive the car home then him. He contacted me and asked if I would be intrested in helping him out on this situation. I replied: "Hey! Thats what I'm here for!! To make your life easier!!!"
It was a terrific flight down. The weather couldn't have been better and both of the pilots had a great sense of humor (which is something I can always appreciate) I also got to fly along and have a personal conversation with 8 movers-n-shakers of Memphis. They were fascinated at the service I was offering (along with a dozen or more things I offer to make others life easier) after just a couple of minutes of me telling them what I do, the first one quickly asked for my business card. The other 7 followed suit. It probally didn't hurt either that my freind was really talking me up the whole time. Anyone that knows how he operates knows he is a real stickler for details, so for him to do that was greatly appreciated
The trip back home was intresting as well. I was really kinda hoping the person we purchased the car from would allow me to borrow his license plate untill I got home, and then I would promptly send it back FedEx as I've practiced this method before. Unfortuntely he said "No Dice" to my purposal
This left me with nothing to do but say a prayer, hit the road and hope I would'nt get pulled over every 50 miles. I musta seen 35 State Troopers during my journey and fortunately for me was able to cross 3 states without one incident occuring. Thank you Jesus!
Today I took the car and had the windows tinted, gps system installed, tires, battery, wiperblades, and a quick detailing. All this took up another day of time. Its kinda funny, yesterday everything was moving at lightning speeds, today it was hurry up and wait! I don't really like the hurry up and wait game, but we knew if it didn't get done today, it would probally never get done. So of course I volunteered my services
Anyway, I didn't make this thread to brag, or to try and let you guys and gals know how AWESOME I am (because I'm sure your well aware of that by now) but to hopefully help some of you that do this for a living (Detailing) show you other avenues of revune off of your existing customers. I hope this will prove usefull to some
Yours truly,
Flash
