How many of you guys use Zep products?

I know Richy uses zep citrus and zep purple (not sure which purple as I seem to recall more than one).

Which cleaners do you use and what do you use them on? Paint?

I use a few Zep products and all of the work extremely well and are pretty darn cheap.

Zep Citrus- good as a wheel cleaner, engine degreaser, and lsp stripper at 4:1. You can also clean interior panels, dash, etc... at 10:1

Zep Industrial Purple - I use it mainly for tires, wheel wells, under carriage and lower parts of the engien at 4:1. Its pretty strong stuff and so are the fumes.

Zep high traffic carpet cleaner. - this is one damn good carpet cleaner along with Krud Kutter(though I dont use either anymore)

Zep professional glass cleaner(green one)- Its a good glass cleaner and is extremely economical at 32:1

+1

I like Zep bang for buck. Will use on wheels unless i let them go too far then duragloss wheel cleaner comes out.

On Auto's I've used:

Meg's APC+ from the interior to the wheels and tires.

I must say that I like the thought of sticking with cleaners that are specifically made for autos/boats/rv's, but I also like the cost of other products given their dilution ratio's.

Other apc's that I own, but have yet to use are:

Optimum Power Clean (Can't wait to try it.)

Super Clean (Haven't tried it yet.)

Purple Power Industrial (Used on non-auto items and boy is it strong. I contacted the maker of this industrial cleaner and posted a thread on it somewhere. Do a search and you'll find it. They told me not for auto's with this cleaner IIRC.)

I imagine just about any product can be diluted enought to be made safe though, with some common sense use.

So you got me curious. What are you using now? My go-to is Folex although I have Majestic Solutions, Krud Kutter, etc. I found the High Traffic to foam up too much.

APC so far for me Megs APC+
Getting some OPC this week so will be trying that in comparison.

I liked the high foaming as I felt it helped migrate the dirt up through the fibers. Later on when I started to extract carpets it became a problem so I stopped using it. Still have KK but I rarely reach for it. Normally for stains and such folex is my go-to also but for general purpose cleaning I use autoglym super interior cleaner(5L from Ken years ago) and natures miracle advanced for the real nasty/stinky stuff as it contains enzymes that digest organic matter and destroys odors.

just a question, at my home depot, they sell the zep citrus cleaner and the zep citrus degreaser, which one are we talking about here?

The label says "Heavy Duty Citrus Degreaser"

Sam's Club now sells zep. I saw ultra purple there.
I use the Purple Degreaser...don't know what ultra purple is?
