Hey there!
So.. the mustang is only coming out next week, so meanwhile I decided to work on the used supercharger I bought. Previous owner started to sand it with a rough grit... What are the step to follow to bring it to a.nice shine? Wich grit to use? Recommended products?

Thanks.:)

All depends on the what grit they started with...if the casting is rough... Usually it would be 220, 320,400,600...after that you could polish it with a rotary and rouge.. But if most is by hand... Then just keep going 800, 1000... By that point, if done right.. It should already have a reflection to it... But will be cloudy. Just remember that you absolutely must get all the grit lines from the previous grit out with the next finer one. If you don't... When you go to polish, they will be there and you will have to start the sanding process all over again to remove those grit marks. Patience is the key. I could see putting 20 or more hours into a supercharger housing to make it like chrome....due to all the curves and tight areas.
