Annoying dirt on accord dashboard !!! Any advice

My accord dash board has an oval uneven shine when I use any dash board protection, i tried all types of products and I clean the dashboard with meguiars interior detailing, it keeps making this uneven white dirt. It is something you can see however when you put your hands on it, you feel nothing. any suggestions

Yeah, looks like the frangible section of the dash for the airbag.

As others have said, it appears to be the outline of the airbag. Have you tried multiple coats after cleaning? That can help even it out a little

It is definitely the airbag. That section will always appear like that as the dash material is thinner in that area to allow the airbag to break out of the dashboard upon inflation. The thinner material means that area is not flat due to gravity and expansion/contraction with temperature differences. So what you are seeing is shadowing or the light being caught in different directions, not uneven product. Function>Form

I have two Accords and I dont see that in either of them, however I do not use any products on the dash board that have any gloss at all. Gloss only amplifies any imperfections on a surface like that. You might try an all purpose or interior cleaner to remove whatever you applied and then use a product that has no gloss or shine at all. I use Ultima Interior Guard Plus 4 oz., interior protectant, rubber & vinyl protectant, rubber dressing.

I have the same thing in my Toyota. I've found that matte products such as McKee's Fast Interior Detailer work better than "dressing" type products that have more of a sheen/shine.
