So this past detail week was a little unique. Two fathers each picked up some really nice MIni's for their upcoming daughter's sweet 16 / New Driver gifts.

Well, here's the first of the two. My friend Ken picked up this nice 2015 Mini Cooper S finished in Ice Chocolate with some really nicely done complimentary colors. It has over 150k miles on it and needed some love. Nothing crazy, just a solid basic polish and since it's the first of the four vehicles, I'm doing for him, a nice 1 year ceramic coating. I also sealed up the plastic trim with a ceramic targeted for just such items. Benefits of which is that it does darken up the trim, evens it out, provides a nice satin finish and locks it all in for years.

I'm so glad he brought his daughter when he picked up the vehicle as her expression was priceless.

Let's just say she's ready to take it out on the road and what's even better, this is a PROPER, 6spd manual transmission and yes, both his kids, drive a manual

. There is hope for some of the younger generation.

Many thanks to Ken for his continued trust in my work and we'll be seeing his Audi S5 Sportback as part of the forthcoming details to be done as it's once I completed a couple of years back and he wants a refresh done.

PROCESS: Involved again, the same Flex XCE Polisher, Lake Country Flat Pads, Orange; GYEON Primer, GYEON CanCoat EVO, CarPro Dlux, & GYEON WetCoat for the wheels.
