So the other day I found out I was out of washer fluid for my windshield. So I thought about picking up one of those blue gallon size jugs of washer fluid that are sold almost everywhere. Then I got to thinking about using onr instead.

I'm not sure if anyone on here has tried this or if it has been brought up but has anyone tried this before? I'm thinking of using 70% distilled water and %30 vinegar to clean and keep the pump lubed and adding in a splash of onr. It will be the same cost, maybe cheaper, of the regular blue washer fluid. Plus the added bonus of distilled water.

I tried ONR as washer fluid and it didn't work that well for me.

You live in Green Bay and you're going to use washer fluid that is going to freeze at 30°F?? (I'm giving you a couple of degrees for the vinegar)

Summertime would be ok for sure and as a designated glass cleaner, good call but what ratio do you suggest? Same as QD?

The only washer fluid I'll use is the orange Rain-x stuff. 3 dollars and change a gallon, doesn't freeze til 25 below, and has ice melting stuff in it. No more windshield scraping! I can't imagine ONR would make a great windshield washing fluid, and as cheap as washing fluid is, I can't imagine you'd save much/any money.
