Hey guys,

while shopping to restock on Aquapel tonight I came upon a page to become an Aquapel Pro Installer.

Not much info was given on the page so I emailed to get more info.

I am just curious to know if any of you guys are pro installers and if so what are the benefits of the Pro kit compared to the individual applicators.

Right now I purchase Aquapel in bulk order (usually 18 applicators at a time). The company I deal with has kits ranging from 4 applicators up to 200. The price difference between 18 and 200 applicators is about a dollar each so I don't see the need to overstock.

Well, love to read how you guys do it.

From what I've seen the "pro" kits are just bulk applicators. I haven't looked into it much though. Interested to hear your feedback after you get a response.

I bought a kit of 24 for about $100 I believe. Once it's used up I won't be ordering any more. The PBL Glass Coating is so much easier to use.

That's what i was thinking i.e. there are glass coatings now that are very very good. With anything in my business, i balance cost against performance. Not sure how Aquapel would break down in bulk cost wise but i do like my regular stash of glass coating. And if their "Pro" installer simply gets bulk product the cost is easy to figure out.

Then again...if Aquapel is a product you like by all means get it as cheap as you can. I like and subscribe to Mike's theory "find what you like and use it often".

I haven't looked into glass coatings yet.

Right now it's costing me about 5$ per applicator of Aquapel and the product is pretty good lasting about 6 months on a windshield.

If coatings last even longer then it might be time to switch, it would all depend on the cost of application I guess.
