Hello All,

I have a 2010 Challenger R/T Classic in Furious Fuchsia with white leather. The stitching is a matching fuchsia color.

I've been using Lexol or Meguiar's off-the-shelf leather cleaners and I want something more gentle due to all the vigorous rubbing required because of Hawaii's red dirt.

- What have you effectively used to clean white leather?
- What is one of the most gentle but effective leather cleaners (do not want to keep abrading the stitching with scrubbing)?

I'm open to all suggestions, especially the premium products - Leather Masters, Connolly, Ultima Interior Shampoo Gel, GTechniq L1, etc.

If you can invest the time, IMO it gets no better than Leatherique. Beyond that, I'm a big fan of both Poorboys and (gasp...sorry, offsite vendor) Zaino, and both work quite well for cleaning and protection.

:iagree:

The leather in my wife's Lexus is white. Regardless of the color Leatherique is the best...really in a class by itself.

I use Sonax leather cleaner and conditioner works great easy to use. I use it on all my high ends cars for maintenance cleaning.

Thank you for the replies. After reading more about Leatherique, I am going to add it to my first AG order.

What sold me on it was the fact you apply it by hand - no worries then about abrading that stitching time and time again with brushes or what not.

I'll be sure to come back and post up before and after pictures in here.

How about using Ultima Interior Guard Plus, which is an interior sealant, protecting the leather and making it easier to clean.

Have you looked at leather masters product line. Autogeek carry's most of the product line.

I'm going to see how the Leatherique does cleaning the white leather, then go from there. After reading some reviews of UIGP, I'm leaning towards that as an additional protectant while I have to deal with this red Hawaiian dirt.

Leatherique and gliptone are two great, easy to use products with extraordinary results.

I worked on a challenger with those kind of seats before and used Meguiars D181 Leather Cleaner to clean it and it came out fine. As long as your not using anything with very stiff bristles your good. I use this brush from AG over the past 1.5 years and it hasnt scratched a leather seat yet Vinyl & Leather Scrub Brush.

Here is a review I did on the Meguiars product also http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/product-reviews/62299-review-meguiars-d181-leather-cleaner.html

Excellent, a Mopar white leather example! Well, I already ordered the Leatherique (which better perform at its price), but it's good to know I have that acceptable Meguiar's option which would be more cost effective in the long run.

I'll probably do Leatherique quarterly or semiannually, and Meguiar's for maintenance if anything gets through the Ultima protective layer.

Sounds like you need a sealer on those seats.
Meg's just came out with a new Leather Sealing System.
I would defiantly go that route.

I use Meguiars D180 for all maintenance cleaning. Of course all the leather seats I clean are protected with Ultima interior protectant :xyxthumbs: and it makes for a easy clean up.

My friend has the 2011 Inaugural edition White with blue stripes and the white leather seats if i detailed it i was wondering about the seats hes real scared to get them messed up keeps towels on them so you cant enjoy the nice leather if i can get em new he might not worry

The picture i posted before are the seats from the exact car your friend has. As long as you don't use a stiff brush you will be fine when cleaning them. Just wipe off the residue from the cleaner with a microfiber towel.

thought those looked familiar i have the zaino cleaner and conditioner ill try that first
