Any good storage solutions for clay towels/mitts?

I've got a Speedy Prep Towel along with a Clay Mitt that I'm really happy with, however they're sort of a PITA to pack along when going mobile... It seems like there's no good place to safely store them except for keeping them completely away from everything including themselves.

Does anyone else have this minor problem? Anyone have any great storage solutions for them? If so please share what works for you. Pics would be great. TIA.
 
i use the backing of some skateboard griptape which is essentially like wax paper which helps prevent my clay block/pad from sticking. i cut it a little shorter in size to a gallon ziploc bag and stick it in there with the clay block/pad...

Genius! Why hasn't this been mentioned before? [or at least I've never heard anyone mention this till now] Glad I asked. Thanks! It also reminded me about rolling up the towel like a burrito.

Clay usually comes in it's own storage container. The packaging doubles as storage.

If you tossed it already, then zip lock sandwich bags or storage bags work beautifully.

Storage bags are available in many sizes.. Just get the appropriate bag for your mitt and your good.

Roll the towel and put it in appropriate size bag.

Here's a tip: Saturate your clay towels with water before you roll and store. That'll also aid in keeping it from sticking to itself.

Different strokes for different folks... Personally I make sure to air dry my clay mitt outdoors in the shade, by hanging it over a spray bottle after every use, even if it takes 2 days to fully dry because I would never store it wet [huge soggy mess] nor would I want it pressing against any kind of plastic because it will stick to it.
 
Inside out seems like it's going to work great.. This is what winds up happening if stored back inside the original container the normL way, it sticks and if it's left in the wrong place and winds up really pressing against the plastic can even ruin the towel.

I've kept my (dried) mitt face up in a giant takeout container from a Mexican joint by us. Fits perfect, and gives some structure to keep the container from collapsing onto the mitt. It's about twice as thick as the mitt.

I can dig it out and grab a pic if it doesn't make sense.
