I have a tech question on my brain.....

Similar to how sensors under body panels, there are certain body panels that Manuf. specs that they must be replaced as repaint/paint thickness or the use of filler can impair these Sensors.

Including our current car, I've had 4 cars fully wrapped in PPF that hasn't presented a issue with these sensors with PPF ontop of these panels.
Is the use of PPF and potential for going against MANUF. approved guidelines of film-thickness build on your WIKI.
AFAIK, in certain unique circumstances, even certain (colors) may also negate the sensors due to it the color requiring more layers.
When ordering a car in a custom color (not factory standard color), depending on the color, even some features like semi-autonomous will be a option omitted from the car if a certain color is ordered as the manuf. has not tested those features and have validated it against the paint color being painted.

Recently got into a minor side-swipe. + is that new bumper skin due to this callout from the Manuf. of no filler/or paint thickness buildup.
Which got me thinking about PFF as a application and how it goes against all these rules..
