It keeps crashing at chapter 2...anybody having issues?

I have had that problem with other iBooks. Try closing all of the apps that are running in the in the background that you don't need. That has always solved it for me.
I think it has to do with the number of system resources being used.
BTW.......Mike's new iBook is great and loaded with active links and multiple pictures in many of the pic windows.
