Doing a 2011 or 12 toyota sienna van. Never been clayed let alone washed very often. So I've washed and am trying to clay and need to get all this sap and whatever else off and nothing is touching it. So far I've tried clay...white meguiars stuff and medium chemical stuff which is absolutely garbage dont waste your money on that stuff. Also tried goo gone and tarminator with no change. Tried an alcohol wipe and that did nothing as well...I'm at a loss but I'd like to not spend my whole night cleaning this thing.

I'll bet $10.00 Ironx won't even begin to touch that.

That looks like it is dried up crusty pine sap. It's organic, you need something to soften it up and disolve it. Ironx is for Iron deposit contamination.

I'd try some mineral spirits or nail polish remover, just be sure to remove it it and don't let it dwell. I have used both before on my personal vehicle for that, the pine sap just wasn't on the paint very long.

try using a plastic razor blade once the tar remover has sat for a minute to help soften it up...

5 plus min of tarminator it laughed. Looks like this is definitely gonna be a 2 day train wreck lol

Hone a single edge razor blade on some glass keeping the same side up that you smoothed up on the glass. Coat the panel in some paste wax and use the razor at the same angle you honed it to slide under whatever it is you are removing.

Got some 100% Acetone and a end of its life microfiber and went to town, took it all off. Should be fun to try and get the green stains and the etching out from them, good thing 95% of that is on the roof and only 5% on the hood

If its sap use lacquer thinner it will remove it really quick and safe to use on clear coat.
