Hey everyone,

I apologize in advanced for having to ask this embarassing question, but does any detailer have two pictures: 1 before, 1 after of a car from a full body position?

I.e. a view of the vehicle that shows the front of the car, some of the size and the wheels?

When I say "dramatic" I mean the car was really dirty before, and after it's amazingly clean?

I'm trying to show a prospective consumer (without the detailing eye) the difference the service I offered causes and the value it can create for the vehicle.

I'll give credit where credit is due, but I need some examples to show what detailing is in two pictures.

If you are able to help out, please reply or pm me personally. If the pictures are of a decent resolution somewhere between 800x600 or better, that'd be better.

If I do earn the business of this client, then I'll make sure I make a good solid set (their vehicle would really show this well) that I can use for my future business and advertising.

Thanks in advanced guys!

With all due respect, if you want to show customers what you can do for a car, you need to show them before and after pictures of a car that you did YOURSELF. Sure, someone else's' pictures can show someone what can be done with detailing, but the greater question is what can you as a detalier, do for them, otherwise upon seeing the pictures, the customer may seek out someone else.

Why not use his car and do a 2x2 area and let him see the results.End results depend on who is doing the detail. Also what product is used etc.If the customer wants you to do his car he should let you do a test panel.Just my 2 cents

I concur, woop out the polisher and do a spot.

Why don't you browse the Show and Shine section of this forum? Detailers are constantly posting pictures of before and after, both of dirty vs clean vehicles, and scratched vs polished vehicles. In many cases you can find pictures for both in the same thread!

Thanks for the help guys, I got him to commit to the detail. I'll post up photos tomorrow when I'm finished.

I'd rather ask instead of doing that, I don't want to represent other work as my own or get into any form of plagiarism or photo theft that's why I make a formal request. Thanks for the help though.

I think I have seen this posted on Autopia in the past. Are you that guy?
