Anyone in or familiar with Greenville SC?

I'm looking at possibly taking a position there but have heard the schools aren't all that great.

Was also curious as to thoughts about living in that area?
I'm currently in northern virginia and have a 1 year old and a 4 year old.

Any commentary is appreciated.
