I saw a post of this on another detailing forum...
A few years back I was really fascinated with mechanical watches. The complexity of some of the movements just astonished me. I felt like I was wearing functional art on my wrist. Fortunately the fascination (obsession) stopped before I took out a second mortgage for something like a Breguet Tourbillon...although, I wouldn't mind one.
I haven't purchased one in a few years, but I still enjoy and appreciate the ones I own. Just wondering if anyone else is fascinated with them.
Here's a pic of my favorites. I have a few others, but these are the ones that regularly find a place on my wrist.
L - R: Omega Seamaster automatic, IWC Portuguese Chrono, Rolex two-tone Submariner w/Serti dial, Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Moon.
