I am looking to go with a new wax and I read some articles about the P21S carnuba wax. Has anyone tried this wax and if so, how were the results? Pleased? Price is affordable. Application go on easy? I use the Pinnacle waxes currently and they are fine, I just was looking to try something new on my recent purchase, a 2019 Tacoma.

Thanks!

Nice wax, but no better than Pinnacle. If you have a dark colored Tacoma, it would be hard to beat Souveran.

For the money it good, decent durability, glossy and easy to apply. It’s been a while but don’t recall it being great at anything besides ease of use

Are you looking into the traditional “P21S” or the “100% Carnauba” version that costs more?

If talking about the traditional version, it beads pretty well, probably do to the beeswax. It looks nice, I prefer it on light colors. Easy to use. But all these things that it’s good in, Pinnacle waxes are mostly superior at. Durability is better than Souveran though.

Still a solid wax for the price. If I knew the color of your Tahoe I could provide other potential options.

P21S has several products. I used the P21S carnauba before I went ceramic and it held up well and gave a nice wet look and was easy to work with. I used it on blue paint.

Foreword:
I’ve bought and used both of the P21S
Waxes...along with what I’ll call their
S100 ‘version’.

Because of its price (~$17.00)...
I much prefer S100 Carnauba Paste Wax over
its more highly advertised and more expensively
priced Cousin: P21S Concours Carnauba Wax.

{Since they both contain Carnauba Wax and
Beeswax...I figure: hey, why not spring for
the bargain, and apply the savings elsewhere.}

A Personal Editorial:
•If you’re talking about P21S 100% Carnauba
Wax, the one advertised as containing no other
Waxes—such as Beeswax, for example;
-then I keep in mind that its longevity can
suffer accordingly.
-Plus it’s ~4X the price of the S100!

I used it long ago. On & off was effortless, nice deep reflective appearance too. Durability was just okay as with most carnauba waxes. Don't expect long term out of it.

Excellent wax! I am a HUGE WAX SNOB too! Can't go wrong if you do use it. I have Pinnacle Souveran Paste Wax and Pinnacle Black Label Reserve. IMO the Pinnacle's are better but not by much.

I still haven't tried P21S Concours out, but based on the reports I would recommend starting out with S100 Carnauba which should be identical or very close to it. S100 is a great traditional paste wax, smells like musty cheese but on/off is fantastic, looks great and will compete against other comparable carnauba waxes in durability. I've also worked a lot with P21S 100% Carnauba Wax which was always a fantastic wax, smells better than S100 but I'm not sure I would go out of my way to pick it back up for anywhere near $65 with how low priced S100 is.

I remember the craze and debate over the S100/P21S similarity. I even remember the rumors that they were going to discontinue S100. I ended up running getting three jars at my local Harley dealer for like $10 a jar. I still have 2 left. The good old days of carnauba wax !!!
