I tried a quick search but didn't find what I was looking for...

I am thinking about picking up the 3 oz. container of Fuzion while it is on sale.

How do you apply it with a DA? Will I just scoop out the whole "disc" and rub it on the face of the pad? (with gloves on of course)

Cool, that's what I was thinking...just wanted to be sure. :xyxthumbs:

I thought I remembered reading something about it here, but that was a while back and I couldn't remember exactly what it was.

Thanks!

I know I have read a few guys talking about NOT applying with a DA only because of personal choice.
I remember a few: waste less lost in the pad, and another is the enjoyment of applying the wax.

When using it on my own car I will probably do it by hand. With a DA I can do it faster when I don't have the luxury of spreading a full detail over a couple of days. :xyxthumbs:

You can apply just about any wax with a dual action polisher. With Fuzion, I prefer to apply it by hand when the panel is warm but not hot. I personally like way it glides on so I just take my time spreading it thin then buffing it to a brilliant shine...:props:

In my how-to book I think I show 3, 4 maybe 5 ways to machine apply wax...

Here's picture of a page out of the book, the point being is if you won a DA Polisher it should have come with the wrench for use removing and installing backing plates.

If you look at the handle, it's kind of like a butter knife, just wipe it clean and use it to apply wax to the face of the pad, like this...

LOTS more tips and techniques in the book...

I always feel like I get better coverage, thinner application when applied by DA.
