Applying tire gel then tire spray

I have a 2008 nissan altima. And i use a verity of tire gels and sprays. i'm wondering if i can apply a tire gel, let it dry then apply a tire shine. will it strip the tire gel?

sometimes i don't get the outcome that i wanted and i thought adding the tire shine would give it to me.
