Are these water spot or etching?

I found numerous of these tiny spot on my car after washing. Would clay or polish take them off? Feed back please

Hard to make heads or tails out of that photo. Almost looks like splatter of something. Well you should clay first then polish. If that doesn't work try compound followed by polish.

Can't tell by the photo, but whatever you use to get rid of the marring, should get rid of those spots.

I was doing my first paint correction on my car. Yet, either clay or compound didn't catch many of those spots.

Btw, I tried to wetsand my touch up paint down to the OEM paint level, and i started with 2000 grit to 1000 grid and back to 2000 grit. But it left an etch after I compound (like the photo attached) what should I do?
