I finally ran out of my OLD bottle, stuff lasts forever lol. Anyway, I like it but didnt know if there was something else new out there and or worth checking out. What I like about WETS is that it doesnt streak, it just fades off and you just have to recoat. Some trim sealants streak and look dumb when it rains...

It fades off alright, like 20min. after I’ve applied it.lol.
What else is out there then? Ive never seen it fade like that at all. Unless my bottle is better since it was older and maybe the formula changed?

Same here. I also have a older bottle and haven’t had any problems with it. It’s worked great for me over the years.

Just bought some in January and used it then.. used it over Solution Finish. Still going strong..granted car is garaged.

Ditto. I wonder if they changed it--Eldo, when did you buy yours?

I did a test, however it didn’t work out the way I thought it would, so I’m willing to admit I was wrong. Disregard my previous comment.

This picture was taken 2 days ago. Both products still look the same.

Is it weird that I know exactly what car that is going by the mirrors? :ROFLMAO:

Not an obvious choice, but I really like Carpro Reload on black trim.

Why? Because it does the same thing as a water-based dressing such as 303 or Perl, as in providing a subtle enhancement and protection from UV. But unlike those products, it can actually last longer than a few days. And compared to a ceramic coating such as DLUX, Reload is easier to apply, requires less prep work, and less risky on newer trim.

I don't normally do the 50/50 thing, but in this case, it shows how subtle the improvement is, as in it looks natural. This was the old v1 Reload..............................

I especially love how it adds richness without gloss, while also being dry to touch and therefore doesn't attract dust. You also add hydrophobic qualities that doesn't really happen with a dressing. In addition to trim, Reload works extremely well on under-hood plastics such as engine covers, fuse boxes and windshield cowling. On an engine bay, an area not often washed, the fact it dries to touch means you don't end up with a dust magnet under there.

The only thing I'd say, you probably won't be restoring heavily faded trim with Reload. However, its brilliant at keeping trim fresh, therefore reducing the need to use restorative products down the track. Unlike paint, you don't need to worry about streaking, in fact you can apply it heavily and not have an adverse effect.

I know Reload has gotten a bad rap in the past, but I've always found it pretty good, especially the latest v2.0. While other spray sealants can do a similar job, there is something about Reload that seems be better in this role. I'd say if you are on the fence, order the small 100ml sample size and see what it does for you.

I’ve been applying Reload to this plastic piece on this TV for the longest. Problem is I always forget to check the results so by the time I look at it again it’s been so long that it’s always caked with dust again. Lol.
