Drove through freshly laid asphalt (no warnings). Ended up with asphalt caked all near wheel wells. Detailer said they couldn't do much about it.

What do I do?

Note it is likely sand etc may be in it too... As you remove if not careful it may act like sandpaper...
Use a clean old towel, lots of solvent and try and use one pass for each section of the towell... Back and forth may grind the paint...

Best of luck.

no warnings = compensation but maybe hard to prove. If that was brought to me I would soak it with a tar remover.once the tar remover isn't as effective,I would try reducer or xylene.

put a little fuel oil in a spray bottle. then wipe it off with clean rags. you're probably need to this a couple of times. keep spraying it & it will roll right off. when you're all done you can wash it with soapy water.

Be careful with Xylene.

It is very powerful and will remove paint especially if it's fresh.
