I finally got a chance to finish this car .. It took longer than anticipated and as promised here are the pics .... Enjoy!!

I sanded the car manually with Nikkon high grade electronics sand paper starting with 1000 grit then 1500 and 2000 .. then i used 3m Trizac 3000 grit on a DA with soapy water and finally 5000 grit ..

Your obviously a trusted detailer/assembler because those cars are such icons in the car world! How many times do you catch yourself staring at it and then have to pinch yourself!?

Thank you very much...I admit that I do stand back and take it all in with a grin : )
Its definitely rewarding to know that I can take a car apart do the bodywork paint it sand and buff it then reassemble it (without scratching it ) ..
Its a lot of work for one person but it feels really good when the owners first words out if their mouth when they gaze upon it is WOW!

The machine guns and rockets are being installed next week plus the ejection seats.. ..itll be field ready in a month .... lol ... : )

It's probably a generational thing but....The DB 5 & 6 are truly one of the all time great cars ever made IMHO. Incredibly beautiful and you've done a brilliant job restoring her to original form. Well done.

Your username is @F40 and youre in CT, do you work for Wayne Carini?

thank you everyone for the props ... it was all worth it : )
i will have more updates when its complete..

So finally the Aston is done and awaiting the delivery truck to take it home ....

Just in case you're wondering we don't put tire dressing on until the day the car leaves ..

That`s one nice car Marius.Good job.We talked to Wayne this morning via Skype during our Cars-N-Coffee.Can you fit in a suite case for Wayne`s next trip down here cause there are guys that want to meet you.Tim.:buffing:

I have to say that the DB6 is "one of those cars", like the E-type, mid-year Corvette, Ferrari GTO, 930 911 and what I mean is timeless. A hundred years from now these cars will still be things of beauty and coveted by everyone!

Amazing work for sure. I love these cars. One of my favorite designs of all time, SLS and E-Types alike. Stunning.
