Attention To Detail - 2012 Ford Fusion Paint Repair & Correction

This vehicle was in a fender bender and quoted $900 for damages. After receiving the insurance money, the client brought the vehicle straight to me and after wet sanding + correcting the area, it looked brand new.

What was done to the exterior :
- Wheels hit with Sonax full effect and iron x
- De-Bugged with TW Bug and Tar Remover
- Exterior wash using foam gun w/ CG Citrus Wash
- Door, hood and trunk jambs cleaned
- Aquartz Iron Cut to decontaminate
- Clayed entire exterior including windows
- Taped up
- Damaged area wet sanded & repaired w/ various supplies
- 2-step - m105 -> menz sip
- Rubber and vinyl cleaned w/ ReNu
- Exhaust tips polished
- Windows clayed again and cleaned with prima clarity
- Wheels waxed with Prima Wheel Armour
- Exterior Wax -> Megs Ultimate Liquid Wax


Upon arrival

Sonax is my favorite wheel cleaner hands down.

Damage taken care of first

Front fender done, door not.

I swear this car sparkles more than Twilight vampires.

This little guy scared the bajesus out of me while I was polishing the bumper, crawled right out on the grill.

Wow. Insurance paid out $900 for that scuff? That insurance company needs a better claims adjuster cause they're paying out for stuff they don't need to. But nice work!

The insurance probably quoted for r&r bumper cover, headlight. Repairs to the bumper, painting bumper cover, and probably blending into the fender due to where the damage is located. That sounds about right, especially if you've got a $250-500 deductible.

I know what you mean about the spiders. I once found a dead squirrel in the engine bay, and mice in exhaust for a car that was not run in a year .
