average price for resonator install

Hey guys, I have a smaller resonator for my car coming. I called a local exhaust shop and they said they would give me a quote tomorrow. Im just curious if anyone here knows the average price for stuff like this. The resonator is smaller. So they are going to have to weld in some new tubing as well.

If you already have the parts, then I would say 70-100. That is just a guess.

I did the same a few weeks ago. Ordered a resonator, had them install it and I also needed 12" of my dp replaced with a flange and they charged me $80 for everything. Go to one of those cheap shops, not a really nice place because they will charge you for it.

Thanks guys. I just wanted to have an idea ahead of time so I know what to expect.

The exhaust shop near me is one of the nice ones I guess you could say. But I have dealt with them in the past and I liked them alot. Great people there.

I do not know the car your replacing the resonator on? But if you do not mind a bit of throatier exhaust sound on acceleration. Just have it removed and replaced with pipe. Really not much difference in sound.

If it's a luxury car replace it.
