As the title states, I have a bakflip fibermax tonneau cover on my truck and since it sits outside 24/7 it's starting to look a little faded. I was wondering if anyone had any experience buffing one of these out, and what products could be used. Bak lists the fibermax being made of "top surface of the FiberMax is made from an impact resistant Fiberglass Reinforced Polymer (FRP), rather than aluminum." The surface is kinda textured.

Not my pic but showing the surface

Only an idea...do you have any Meguiar's Ultimate Wax LIQUID (emphasis on liquid) Wax? If so try a little bit, as is always said-inconspicuous area- see what happens.

I've had some really good results (luck) with UWliquid on various 'plastic stuff'.

I didn't think 303 would get rid of the chalkyness. I'll try it out tho.

well if it's a polymer then treat it like trim.
So any trim dressing will work.
There is a "trim Sealer" out there but the name escapes me.
I'd use that.
