I'm just curious, when i search some of the old posts, i see members with a yellow banner beneath their avatar saying banned..why were they banned? Is it because of linking to other vendors/distributors? I think there was also something about a guide on a different site. :)
 
it could be a few different resons. spam/ not obaying forum rules/ instigating other members/causeing trouble.ect.. a/g doesnt like drama. and i agree..save the drama for ya MOMA!!!:dblthumb2:

We dont really discuss the specifics, but banning is NOT something we like doing nor happy when it has to be done. Its usually for the best of the forum ... but please dont think we take it lightly.

Now spammers , we toss them and dont lose any sleep over it !

Autopia banned me when I only had a few posts that were all comments about people's great details. Their reason: Spam. Date ban will be lifted: Never. How about that Mike? :laughing:

Let me add to your example...

I got banned from SixSpeed.net for trying to become a sponsor! Or at least it states trying to solicte work without being a sponsor. Which is funny since not one of the three SM's or the one Admin I pm'ed ever replied to me. :laughing:

Sounds like a mistake? Did you try contacting anyone to try to clear it up? Most Moderators, (emphasis on the word most), are reasonable people that have a good sense of fairness.

The Pat300zx is a member of this forum and a Moderator on Autopia and as straight-up person as you can find, maybe shoot him an e-mail explaining what happened?

Thanks for the tip Mike, and I'm 100% positive that it was a mistake as I never posted anything but compliments. I have no way to contact anyone except by email or this forum, I will try out Pat, thanks!
