I am working on this baby next week
View attachment 15326
It's my friends car, does not need much but id like to make it perfect. It has some dye from jeans on the seats that I'd like to get rid of. What do you all suggest?
He also has some scratches on the glass, what is recommended to get rid of them?
Thanks AG :)

Post more pics.. Including the glass scratches and Interior dye transfer on the seats.

What are you looking to do?

1. Wash
2. IronX
3. Clay
4. AIO
5. top w/ additional Wax
6. Wheel Sealant
7. Convertible Top Protectant

and I'm guessing Interior Vac, Dash Wipedown w/ something like 1Z premium cockpit.

I would suggest Leatherique Rejuivantor Oil and Leatherique Pristine Clean for the seats

But I'm sure you will get alot more input

Good Luck and Post your results as well

Use a quality leather cleaner like Leatherique Prestine Clean. Cleaners like this are designed to work on leather surfaces softening and lifting stains and grime.

Minor glass inperfections can be handled easily with
CarPro CeriGlass.

"Formulated with mild abrasives, CeriGlass deep cleans and polishes all glass surfaces with ease. It quickly removes acid rain spots, hard water spots, road film, stubborn bird stains, and interior glass film. CeriGlass is so effective, it even removes fine to medium scratches from glass! It leaves glass crystal clear and sparkling."

Will i need the rejuvenating oil as well or will the cleaner be enough?
Do you suggest the window polish to be used by hand or dual action? which works best?
Thanks

Leather
Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil is a very nice product that does a great job at brightening up leather interiors leaving the leather soft and satin glow once buffed. This is a great topper after using their cleaner...

Glass

CarPro CeriGlass can be used either way but if you're removing scratches and defects use your dual action polisher with a Orange or White foam pad....

Bobby,

I think you may have that part backwards?? then again you may just have a different finishing method?

From my understanding how this product works and the way I have always used the Leatherique combo is Rejuvenator oil first.. Let sink in and remove contaminets and dirt from the heat and then follow up cleaning w/ Pristine Clean.

from the description:

16 oz. Leatherique Prestine Clean
Use Leatherique Prestine Clean to clean leather after application of Rejuvenator Oil has done its job or as a maintenance cleaner and detailer. After the ph correct proteins and collagens from the Rejuvenator Oil have permeated back into the pores and fibers of the leather, strengthening and nourishing them, the surface may be tacky, sticky, gritty, or have a white haze. This is simply the dirt, grime, air pollution, perspiration, salts and other toxins that have floated out of the leather to the surface.

Yes you are right. I just looked at some reviews on this product, It is the rejuvenating oil first, then the cleaner.

Blackfire interior cleaner is the best interior cleaner I have used but man it is expensive!

I think I might try the blackfire interior cleaner instead if the rejuivatibg oil. It's cold here in NYC and I know the rejuvenating oil needs some heat to really bring out the dirt.

You are correct.....

I was looking for something suitable for a Bently and the Leatherique system seemed to fit the bill. I reread the information and here's what they say:

Leatherique Prestine Clean is part of a two-step leather maintenance system. Step one is Leatherique Rejuvenator Oil. This oil nourishes the leather and forces contaminants out of the pores. Prestine Clean then removes these contaminants from the surface of the leather and leaves it with a clean, matte sheen. This is the only leather care system that calls for the conditioner to be used first..

Good catch! :props:

Anything else that might help me? do the high tech shampoo sponges work well for this?
