Is McKee plastic trim restorer the best bang for the buck trim restorer? I’m looking for something solvent based. I use Perl now. But it washes off too quickly for me.

I've used the one from 303, VERY good product, free shipping over $35.00 through their parent company, Gold Eagle, if your not placing a large order here at AG and your in a pinch

It is a good product. Better than 303 in the regard that 303 trim protectant is streaky on smooth trim.

Solution finish would be the the trim restorer to go with if the trim needs restoration. You can use CarPro Perl on top of it as well.

If the trim is faded and in need of restoration Solution Finish does a great job of restoring the color. Wolfgang Exterior Trim Sealant does a good job on just about any type trim and will not wash off quickly. It can be used over Solution Finish to add projection and prevent future fading.

Is the trim faded badly? If so, Solution Finish. If it's just slight then use GYEON Q2 Trim. It will darken it up and keep it protected for a long while.

It’s not faded badly.

I can't compare it to anything else, but I have been thrilled with the results I've gotten with Mckee's. I purchased Solution Finish for if the McKee's doesn't do the trick, and the bottle is unopened.

Out of all the products I have tried, nothing even comes close to Solution Finish. The stuff might be expensive, but it doesn't do a half-assed job like the other products. You apply it and the trim looks new.

Another vote for the McKee's Plastic Trim Restorer. I have been very happy with the results and it's worked better than anything else I've tried.

I agree for restoration however I feel that it needs some sort of protectant to augment it. It brings back faded trim pretty well in my experience.

Did you mean this statement about Solution Finish, rather than Mckees? Mckees is a solid protectant.
