Hi,

I know. I apologize for another stupid "which is best" question.

But I'm interested in opinions on what kind of non-painting-coating-stripping/gentle shampoo that is recommended for using to prolong the paint coating as much as possible.

Thanks!

Have you looked up rinseless washing? Its an absolute breeze on coated vehicles.

Otherwise if you want to stick to 2 bucket method, something like Meguiar`s Hyper Wash will serve you well. Method will trump the soap however.

Ultima car shampoo is a great one to use. It's highly concentrated and leaves behind no residue or anything that would interfere with the coatings dirt shedding properties. CarPro Reload is another, but does not foam as much.

Thanks, guys. I will look into those.

CarPro Reset. It's made for coated cars, no added waxes, silicones or gloss enhancers. It smells great and it's got really good lubrication and cleaning power. Expensive, but worth it.
