Best Carnuba?

Best for what? Shine/reflectivity/warmth? Ease of application/removal? Durability? Be more specific as to what traits you're looking for. Liquid, paste, or spray?

The idea was for you to tell me. Trhland got the idea.

If you are looking for the "BEST" carnuba wax...forget about it...you couldn't afford it. You'll have to settle for some of the suggestions on this board, one of which is my favorite, Collinite 915 because not only does it last for up to 6 months, it looks amazing on dark colored cars.

Grasshopper have lots to learn.... If you want us to tell you, the accurate question would have been "What is your favorite carnauba wax?"

To ask "What's the best carnauba wax?" implies that there is a single best wax and requires that we all agree on a firm standard of properties that make a wax the "best" available.

"Find something you like, and use it often." :props:

Great work on your countless hours of research. The "best" is entirely subjective so your question is rather pointless. What's the best car? Ice cream? Airplane? There are thousands of waxes available and just as many opinions. Good luck in finding whatever it is you are looking for.

This is gonna get interesting, someone pass the popcorn please.:surrender:

I agree with all of the replies to the OP. Wax choices are very subjective, it takes time to research all of the high end boutique waxes available, but it must be done to satisfy that hunger for the "Best Carnauba". I am very happy with the high end boutique waxes in my arsenal, but it took me hours of research to pick each one of them as the "ultimate choice" for me. Time to get to work OP. :buffing:

Seriously????

I'm never hostile or aggressive towards anyone on hear, but please check what your saying....

Everyone on hear is just trying to get an idea of what you want, and for you to comeback with a smartass remark like that, is completely uncalled for.

You just hop onto a forum with a group of people who are almost like a FAMILY in this community and expect us to just throttle back on everything we are doing to be able to attempt to read your mind??? Come on man!!!! Really?!?!?!?!?!?!? Learn to think about what you say before you sat what comes out of your mouth, even if it is on a forum.

This group of people has been nothing short of amazing in terms of help, and to have someone that just joined, hop on and disrespect them for trying to get a little more detail is just plain ignorant. Sorry that they wanted to help, and you couldn't be a little more specific in your request... but grow up when someone you don't know is proactively trying to get you the best answer for your question.

If I went onto a performance board and asked "WHATS THE BEST TURBO FOR MY CAR?" thats a pretty damn general question... A million answers could be concluded from that one question...

All in all, don't be a d*ck when someone is just trying to help.

BTW...Pinnacle Souveran FTW!!!!

In all fairness, I don't think the OP meant anything bad by that response. I don't think it was a smarta** remark either. I think he was just stating what he wanted out of the thread.

Let's all just calm down here and remember that we were all beginners on forums at one point. Now that we know what the OP wants and that he/she has been educated on the limits of the initial question, let's get back to answering the question for our fellow car care enthusiast. :dblthumb2:

BTW, I like Meguiars Gold Class Carnauba Plus. Easy on, easy off, great price and decent durability. :xyxthumbs:

I can see what you're saying...but being a first time member on a forum doesn't excuse the fact that your not being a kind person in your posts...

I understand, and fully embrace the fact that learning forum etiquette is huge, but it shouldn't be an excuse to allow someone to just come on here and generate what is perceived as a smarta** comment.

If that was not the case, then it shouldn't have been said like that...sorry... just my opinion... he/she could've simply put... "what is your favorite wax" as opposed to almost degrading someones simple question as to what he/she is looking for...

I'll say it again....Pinnacle Souveran....

I've used the P21S paste and the ease of use keeps me coming back. Admittedly, I haven't tried many waxes, but out of the 5-6 I've tried I like it most. Not the most durable, but it's so easy to use that reapplying is not an issue for me.

It sure hit me as a smart a s s remark and apparently others feel the same. At any rate there is no answer to the the question the way it was presented.

I used to use Griot's Garage Carnauba exclusively. I still like the wax but I don't like the pop up dispenser they now use to package the wax. As a result, I no longer use this wax. My favorite now is Wolfgang Fusion. It is a hybrid carnauba/polymer blend which gives a really WOW factor after use and has great longevity. Very easy to use too and it smells great.

What's the best wax, and how long does it last?

Not knowing if you are an active member/poster on other forums or not: But, if so, would you be so kind and please be willing to share what the other forum's, or forums', postings have to say in regards to this subject matter---just for comparison sake, as it were? Just wondering. Thanks.

This question can not be answered!! It's like asking who the best car manufacturer is, or the best beer. You can just get an idea of what people's favorites are.

Thanks everybody. I'll be careful to rephrase the question next time. I travel allot for my job and just don't have the time for polymers and such. I'm currently using Wolfgang Fuzion and have a can of the Pinnacle Souveran on hand. I like the easy on / easy off of the Fuzion and the way it makes "cheery red" pop, but was wondering, in your "opinion", what is the longevity and/or if there's something else out there that lasts longer, shines better and is as easy to work with. I realize I'm going to get allot of different opinions but I'm hoping that it will help me eliminate a few if not more than the bad choices I might make.

Again thank you all.
