Best Carpet Extractors Under $1500

Just want some input on what you guys think the best Extractor machine is under $1500 or so. Also, for those of you that do use them, do you ever substitute them for regular wet/dry vacs to vacuum interiors?

I use the Aztec Hot Rod as I require portability .I love this unit. No I still use a wet/dry Vacumm

Plus 1 for the Aztec! rops: I use the metro vac and blow before the aztec. Aztec doesn't have a filter and its not designed to be used as a vacuum, its purpose is only to suck up water in the carpet.
