So a company out there called Surf City Garage makes a series of cheap, car care products I've never tried nor heard of. One of my detailing buddies gave this to me saying he sells it to him customers.

Its called Speed Demon Wax Detailer - Retails $12.99

It has some carnuba in it and really works well and bringing back the shine to waxes, sealants and works super well after waxing to remove any residue!

Wondering if anyone has heard of them, I haven't but this is a good product! ... smells like bubble gum too!

Surf City is an Adams imposter. They copy several of their products down to the color and scent. If you like that detail spray, you would be blown away by the real thing (Adams). Im sure there are others that perform as well or better on here as well.

Personally, I've only used Meg's Quick Detailer, or Mother's Showtime Quick Detailer... Smells like Gingerbread cookies...mmmmmm Ginger.
Curious though what is the "best" quick detailer out there??

Ive tried a few sprays on here and what not, I based this off of cost too... I got it free lol!

I really dont know what the best out there is... hmmm
The Wolfgang one is nice!

My local pepboys carried SurfCity prodcuts. I've tried a fe and I like their glass cleaner and a fe others. FK 425 is my favortie quick detailer and Megs quick wax for something to add some shine.

The local autoparts store had discontinued carrying Surf City products so I was able to get some of products for 60% off. I used Speed Demon Wax Detailer and it worked nice, nothing over the top just nice detailer. But I would prefer Mothers's FX or FK425

FK425 is a personal fav. The anti-static properties are great on a black car!

My fave qb is cg v7. A bit pricey for the 16 oz so I buy it by the gallon which is very reasonably priced.

My preference; all of which use QD dilution ratios

1- Ultima - UWW+
2- Optimum ONR
3- Detailers Pro Rinsless Wash and Gloss (increase concentration by 1/3)
4- Mother's Showtime

If I want to perform a QD and will be applying a wax afterwards I will not use #1.

Have you tried the new Menzerna Detail Spray ... it is a hidden surprise and very easy to use too !

I don't know about all that, but Speed Demon and Hot Rod by Surf City are both excellent detail sprays.

I don't know if they're as good as Optimum's detail spray or DG fast Clean and Shine, but they're really good for something you can get locally.

FK425 is on my list of things to try someday!

Pep Boys carries Surf City products OTC. Some of their products are decent, but not great especially not for the price. For a QD I prefer Mothers, I picked up 4 boxes full of the 16 & 24 oz of Mothers Showtime instant detailer & the spray wax for $3.50 a bottle (on sale). Cant beat that and I love how the QD smells, kind of like Cinammon. The spray wax smells like candy :).

i have tried all sorts of stuff from mothers, to meguiars, to wizards, to speed detailer, to snappy shine, and MANY others. im telling you this for sure......the first time I tried Car Brite's Mist-N-Shine I was blown away. smells like coconut so every time you use it you immediately think you are at the beach, no kidding. but this is one of the best detailing products I have ever used on a car. I will never use anything else. it amazing and like $30 a gallon.

Car Brite huh? Never heard of that, where can you purchase it?

car brite is a national brand. been around for about 50 years. in 2005 they sold to valvoline and a few things changed (got better), but they have distributors all over the country. just check the car brite website and put in your zip code to find the nearest distributor to you. otherwise you might be able to buy online or just shoot them an email and ask how to purchase. i recommend the following after trying most of their products........laser brite polish works very well, of course the mist-n-shine, blue max is an APC thats works for everything, one very great product is called xtra duty plus - its an aerosol foam cleaner to be used on literally everthing but works so well on the interior like cloth seats, cup holders, headliners, and awesome for door panel quick cleaning...... also the hypershine 2 dressing is really good and cheap, the spray wax is very good, really everyting they have is awesome (cherry bomb car soap, crystal shine polish, easy off wax, all sol, see spot go, quik kote, man everything they have is great and well priced) give them a try. seriously, ive had my detail shop and car lot for over 20 years, highly recommended.

(Franticly searches Car Brite and orders their entire stock) This is what usually happens when I discover a new product to try.....and Ive tried many.

thats funny. i opened a post about 2 hours ago to get peoples opinions about car brite but nobody has replied. this is my first day on this site an im already addicted. hoping somebody has used it cause it really works well. hope you try it and hope you like it. and no, i dont work for them.

Where did hear this?

Good ol' Car Brite, brings back memories of my production days. Not too bad for high volume shops I don't suppose. You can find great alternatives to their stuff usually cheaper, starting with Chemical Guys. The difference being that Car Brite comes to you.
