Currently I'm using the absorber xl after spraying CG hybrid v7 before drying. Then I follow up with microfiber towels to buff out the streaks. Is there a better towel ? Please advise.

I really don't use drying towels as I mostly do traditional washes, but this does a great job of drying the vehicle and helps minimize (marring) having to touch the paint in the drying stage...

DP Turbo Car Dryer

You will get thousands of "opinions "on this and my choice is Dry me Crazy, I've always heard to buy korean (they r great) but not like these German ones, just my 2cents.

Have tried the Griot's Garage drying towel, Guzzler, Dry Me a River and Metro blaster. Usually I am using the towels when I do a rinseless wash. When doing the full 2bw, I use the Metro blaster.

I've been really happy with the Dry Me a River towels I picked up not long ago. Another towel that really surprised me is the Meguiars Water Magnet

Since moving from the Absorber to MF drying towels, I've found I like the smaller ones are easier to use. They saturate quicker, but you just wring them out and keep going.

If your are still using Waffle Weave drying towels, you are really missing out

MicroFiber Madness is the best drying towel I have ever used

It is super soft and the longer fibers get into cracks that a WW towel leaves behind

Can dry a small car with the mid-sized towel

Well worth the money

Anyone else raise an eyebrow when the response to an inquiry about a towel is followed by a bunch of people telling him to buy a $150 air blower?

Do you guys just like to spend money? :p

Thanks guys....don't quite have money for a blower so at times I use my air compressor....

I might buy the weave one mentioned in the replies. If someone has a used blower for sale let me know!

Id use the compressor and forget the blower

I use a $35 leaf blower. I don't like to spend money, but also don't like to use any sort of towels to dry my cars.

I also recommend a blower to towels and use my old Metro Vac N Blo. I upgraded my vacuum and don't use the Metro for anything but blow drying now. If that unit ever dies i will replace it with the blower linked above. $150 for something that has already proven its effectiveness to me as the owner of a black car is money wisely spent. I have significantly reduced the friction passes on my paint. I do touch up areas with a WW towel after a blow dry and for that love the Dry Me A River and Guzzler towels.

Just my experience anyway.
