Best Duragloss combination (Newbie!)

Hey guys,

So I've had my new car for a few weeks now. It's only done 600 odd miles and I've decided that I'm going to start caring for it myself, rather than use the local car wash like I was doing with my old car.

I have been doing quite a bit of research and it seems Duragloss is pretty reputable.

It's a Peugeot 208 Style in White.

This model: (This one isn't personally mine)

From what I've gathered, these sort of combo's seem like they'll do a great job:

DG #901 --> DG #111
DG #901 --> DG #111 --> DG #105
DG #901 --> DG #601 --> DG #111 --> DG #105
DG #901 --> DG #105

I'm really torn on what combination will benefit me the most (maybe there's a better combo than the above?). Duragloss isn't exactly easy for me to get either. I'll have to order it online and I wanted to make an order as soon as I am confident on a combination to go with.

I'm having a little look into Meguiars too as this brand of stuff is stocked at a few locals stores and seems pretty good (?) However, Duragloss still sounds better.
 
601/105 then if you want the extra little bit 601/111 over the 105. 901 for washes but there is also 932 rinseless with Aqua Wax that works extremely well plus you can mix it to make a QD. 952 (Gallon size) of Aqua Wax is also handy to have around. I could go on and on but that is enough to get you going.

You wouldn't want to top a pure sealant (111) with an AIO (105)
You could use them the other way around.
IMO 501 would suit white better with its exceptional cleaning ability. White polishing pad works well if your using a DA. After that top with 111.
 
Don't forget the DG Rain Repel. Since I bought this I've never used a windshield wiper.
And when the OCD thing hits you when you see a bit of dust on your new ride, get some Fast Clean and Shine. Very underrated product.

111 is a great product. I've never used it with the 601, and still get 6+ months out of it.

My "signature" finishing combo is the 111 with Zymol Carbon.

That site has DG501.....it's in the marine section.

501/601 mixed 4:1 then
105/601 " " " then
111/601 " " " and done or you could top that with DG104 of your favorite wax.

the reason for using 601 mixed is you will not have to wait between steps.
 
I use 601/105 on my white HHR,and it looks awesome IMO. I have used the DG rinseless with Aquawax in it to wash before,but I am currently using Pinnacle Rinseless. I have been topping the combo with DG Fast Clean and Shine,and that really amps up the shine and slickness. I have used Aquawax to top before,but I have used Optimum Car Wax also with great results.

I always use the 601 bonding agent. I have mixed the 601/105 on the car,on the pad,and also in bottle in the 4:1 ratio.
 
First of all, DG #111 should always be last because its a pure sealant, adding #601 into is fine, ofcoarse. Here's what I'd do:

-DG #501/601...good cleaning with the #501

-DG #105/601...lighter cleaning but more protection w/ #105

-DG #111/601...finish up with pure sealant capabilities of #111

Then maintain with DG rinseless washes and maybe every 6 weeks, if you'd like to, spray some DG AW on it and your lookin' real good. Use AW on the glass too and speaking of glass, apply the DG combos to your glass too:thumbup:

Do not leave 101 out of the mix as it cleans very well also.

I have used #101 in the past but it seems to overlap with #105, so I chose to buy #105 for a while.
