Best paste wax under $75

Blackfire Midnight Sun is pretty good. I never had an issues and its a nice WOWO product. To really make it look great and much added protection Blackfire Wet Diamond Paint sealant is excellent!

Would you care to list what attribute that you want a paste-wax to be best at providing?

Such as:
-Durability; Shine/Sheen/Gloss; "Protection"...?

(More often than not: Sacrifices must be made to have one attribute be "best" over another.)

Thanks.

What are you looking for? Looks or durability?

If you're on a budget, I would highly suggest getting these:
  1. Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax
  2. Pinnacle Signature Series II
  3. Autoglym HD Wax

Here's a black car I did using Meguiar's Ultimate Paste Wax:

Here's a review I did on Pinnacle SSII:

If you're not looking for durability but want the best looks I would get:
  1. Pinnacle Souveran (wait until it goes on sale - below $75)

TERRIFIC point Bob!!!

Pinnacle Souveran Paste ... just missed the sale with 20% off !

Natty Blue
Max Wax
Pete's 53
SS II
50/50
Nattys Red

All of the above are easy to use and look great...

You could try a coating like Wolfs Hard Body. Autopia sells that now. It may help keeping your black car free of marring and its in your price range. Also you won't have maintain it like a wax.

Although I can't say my one experience with Wolfs was a good one.

HB came to mind because its supposed to be easy to work with, but there are several others.

SSII and Fuzion 3oz are two of my favorite. Cant go wrong with either.

My current favorites are Meguiars #26 Hi Tech Yellow Wax, and Zymol Carbon. That might change once my Collinite waxes show up!

Signature Series II FTW hands down! I would look at DP Max Wax as well. I also enjoy Zymol Carbon as long as it's not too humid during application. Like others have said many good sealants can be had under 50 bucks if that's the route you want to go.

All the boutique wax that I bought were mediocre. I used PB's Nattys, Megs Ultimate paste, Mothers carnuba and Blitz wax and they have proven to be comparable to Fuzion, Pinn Souveran, CG's 50/50 and Celeste and Black Fire.

Yes I'd definitely would used WGDGPS instead of any wax of under 75. Definitely.
