I have some brand new detailing products (Porter-Cable 7424XP and an assortment of pads) that I want to get rid of. I looked, and surprisingly none of the detailing forums I frequent have a classifieds ads section. Where is the best place (aside from local Craigslist) to offer these items up for sale?

I just give my stuff away to friends or people who like detailing. Good karma

I've got lucky a couple of times selling detailing supplies on Ebay.

Facebook Marketplace. You can also look for detailing buy-and-sell groups on Facebook.

there are a few Facebook groups out there......why not go to the 'Samples' thread here and see if anyone has anything you would take in trade?

I think this would be an awesome opportunity for Autogeek to sell used stuff. Let's say I want to sell my Flex 3401. Autogeek would have a basic trade in value for store credit like Game Stop. So I get to get a new whatever at a discount (based on my trade in value) Autogeek keeps selling new stuff, and sells used stuff with limited or no warranty. Maybe I'm off my rocker here, but I think it helps keep everything more in house, if you will.

Probably not cost effective for AG to get involved, but I do wish we could sell stuff on the forum. I’ve got a new Rupes 15 that is wasting away and it’s making me feel guilty every time I see it. Maybe I could trade it for gift certificates, that way AG makes some profit?

Then the 3401 breaks a week after some one buys it and their going to expect AG to do something about it. I see that ending in people complaining about Autogeek, not to mention more phone calls about issues. They have a sterling reputation when it comes to customer service, that would be them in a situation where it could get tarnished.

I've sold three or four machines on eBay and have been happy with the outcome. Money is in PayPal where you can get a check, or just turn around and spend it here.
