Best pressure washer for a foam cannon?

I haven't a clue from experience but the MTM Hydro supposedly requires a minimum of 2 GPM and 1500 PSI, and can withstand up to 5.2 GPM and 5000 PSI. I have seen little to no electric pressure washers that use 2 GPM, maybe just one, a few at 1.8/1.9. I'm sure that difference is negligible, but apparently gas-powered's the way to go.

yeah its going to be gas powered dual purpose house cleaning, so that works out.. and I planned on the mtm hydro foam cannon
just need to figure out a good washer, or are they all going to be pretty much good?

hit me up if you want to test mine. I have a 1700psi electric rated at 1.4gpm. Its good enough for small jobs around the house and perfect for cars that I do. I do agree for massive amouts of foam a higher pressure is required but mine impresses my clients all the time using a cocktail of various CG soaps in my MTM.

I don't know much about gas versions. But I do know the more pressure the better the foam. But to much pressure is not always paint safe when spraying the car without the former attached.

I have a 13hp Honda powered Karcher.

It will produce so much foam it looks like my car is buried in snow.

And it has a not only a throttle but a pressure regulator on it. I can turn down the pressure to as low a 600 psi.

But even my electric Snap-On washer produces enough pressure to send out plenty of foam.

All in all a good machine, just too time consuming pressure washing decks and vinyl siding on houses I service.

So, no. Not all gas pressure washers on the same level, but good enough for foamer.
