What is the best QD? Wipes off quickly. - Clean the best? Slickest ?
Thanks

I prefer Finish Kare 425. It takes very little product to quick detail a panel, so it does have a learning curve like other products do. But it leaves the surface very slick and shiny.

+1 very slick and shiny

Haven't used FK 425, but a thread was started some time back on the same subject, and FK 425 was the favorite.

From what I have used: Meg's Ultimate QD is good, as is the Wolfgang QD.:xyxthumbs:

What kind of learning curve?

FK 425 all day! I just used some on my car during lunch. I have a black TL and it is one of the only things that doesn't streak or dry funny. I love it.

I'd have to agree with everyone regarding FK 425. I have a sprayer in my trunk for a quick wipe down and no effort at all :xyxthumbs: !! Leaves a nice shine and suppose to repel dust as well ?!

Ultima Waterless Wash..more lube than any QD on the market and is polycharged. One 16 oz. bottle makes 5.5 gallons.

The only one I've used is Megs Ultimate Quik Detailer. It works good for me and it's readily available OTC.

Optimum Instant detailer for me. Some are better in certain respects, but nothing is as versatile as OID.

Meguiars Quick Deatailer seems to clean better but FK425 leaves a glossier, slicker shine.

Finish Kare 425 or Dodo Red Mist

John is a Wise man too! IMO QD is dead!

Semantics. To me a waterless wash is a QD, just on steroids hence my listing of a generic waterless wash. I'm using the DP waterless wash, but may try Ultima after all the references in this thread. I go through a ton of waterless wash in the summer when pulling a boat or my waverunner out of the water.
