Best/safe degreaser for carpet cleaning?

What do you use? I used a lot of simple green in the army lol I like it, but I wonder how safe it is for interior carpets? Anything better than simple green?

+1 more on Folex. If that doesn't do it, Optimum Power Clean.

I searched for OPC on amazon, no results. Can you get it lowes? And thx!
 
Just picked up a jug of folex from lowes. I'm gonna test it out tomorrow, I'll be sure to report back in this thread. Thanks again everyone. :)

Couldn't sleep so I decided to play around in the garage at 3am lol Tested it out.... WORKS GREAT! It's quick, doesn't foam up too much, it's cheap, seems to blend into the areas that haven't been treated and I don't have to use a ton of product! Gonna let it sit and see how it looks fully dry. Only one downside, gets a little sticky on the hands lol I'll use gloves next time. THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE
 
Glad to see it worked for you. It doesn't hurt to give it a little dwell time on stubborn stains. I have been known to add a small amount to my Bissell LGM with good results. In our home we have the fake suede rockers and its great on those for all kinds of stains. I have four grandkids,don't ask me how I know.
